Bio

Coach Larry Cox is a long-time Head Football Coach in Southwest Ohio. He came to Fairborn High School in 2022. Prior to being named Head Coach of the Skyhawks, Coach Cox was Head Football Coach at Franklin High School and Talawanda High School where he was the A.P. 2019 D-2 SW Ohio Coach of the Year. Before going to Talawanda, Coach Cox spent 21 seasons as the Head Football Coach at Lakota West High School. He was the first ever Head Football Coach at Lakota West and helped hundreds of players into the collegiate ranks as well as the NFL. Before arriving at Lakota West, Coach Cox was the Head Football Coach at Bellbrook High School where he was voted Coach of the year in 1995, his first season as a Head Coach. Coach Cox family includes his wife Jackie of 30 years and his two daughters Madison Cox and Madelyn Ernst and her husband Nick. Coach Cox is a graduate of Hamilton Badin High School and Miami University.
